<br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Past Action <br /> <br />On June 10, 1986, the City Council granted preliminary approval to PL- <br />146, Walburn Industrial Park plat. The proposed Beisswenger Hardware <br />would be developed on Lot 1 of the Walburn Industrial Park plat. <br /> <br />On May 20, 1986, the Planning commission reviewed a proposed site plan, <br />variance and nonconforming use permit (LP-197, VN-246 and NC-75) for <br />the construction of a new building for Beisswenger hardware. The site <br />plan review was requested by the applicant to be continued. <br />VN-246/NC-75 were withdrawn. <br /> <br />On April 21, 1987, motion by the Planning Commission to recommend <br />approval of the application for LP-210; the Planning Commission felt <br />108 stalls was excessive and recommended the east and north rows of <br />parking be eliminated. This new parking configuration would not <br />require a variance. The Commission recommended adding a condition of <br />approval; "The east row and north row of parking be eliminated and <br />additional stalls be added to the middle two rows." <br /> <br />On April 28, 1987, the City Council approved LP-210 per the Planning <br />Commission's recommendation. <br /> <br />SITE CHARACTERISTICS <br /> <br />1.
