Parking Area Surface:

bituminous.

12. Truck Bays: existing.

13. Dock Area: existing.

14. Exterior Storage/Screening: The addition approved in 1984 was to
help eliminate the amount of exterior storage on the subject site.
There still exists a sizeable amount of exterior storage west of the
proposed addition. To better screen this storage area the fence and
gate constructed along the 1st Street SW side of the storage area
should be made opaque by installing an opaque mesh or similar
material on said fence and gate.

15. Landscaping:

existing.

16. Performance Standards: The proposed collection tank addition would
capture and store heavy metal particulates otherwise deposited into
the City's sanitary sewer system. When deposited in the sanitary
storm sewer system, the heavy metal particulates accumulate in the
sludge at the treatment plant. This sludge must then be transported
to facilities out of state where the metals are separated from the
sludge.

17. Impact on Surrounding Land Uses: Impact would be lessened if
collection tanks were installed and exterior storage screened.

18. Other Considerations:

none.

Public Works

1. Streets: NA
