<br />.- - i: <br />\ ~ <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO 84-122 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON PIKE LAKE AREA STREET REHABILITATION <br />PROJECT 84-1, AUDITORS NO. 5457 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota <br />as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law the City, <br />Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed <br />assessment of the improvement of: <br /> <br />LOCATION: All benefitting properties abutting the following streets: <br /> <br />1. All of Pike Lake Drive. <br />2. All of Highview Drive. <br />3. Robin Lane from Highview Drive to Thorndale Avenue. <br />4. All of Robin Court. <br />5. Thorndale Avenue from Robin Lane to Service Drive. <br />6. All of Serivce Drive except approximately the west 200 feet. <br />7. 13th Street NW from Pike Lake Drive to 100 feet west of <br />Highview Drive. <br />8. 12th Street NW from Robin Lane to Pike Lake Drive. <br /> <br />BY: The construction of concrete curb and gutter and a bituminous <br />overlay. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br />a part thereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special <br />assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land <br />therein included is hereby found tO,be benefitted by the proposed <br />improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending, <br />over a period of ten (10) years, the first installment to be payable . <br />on or after the first Monday in January, 1985, and shall bear interest <br />at the rate of lOt percent per annum from the adoption of this <br />assessment resolution. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to <br />certification of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole <br />of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date <br />of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be <br />charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the <br />adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter, pay <br />the County Treasurer the balance of assessments remaining unpaid <br />with interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case <br />made and provided. <br />4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified dupl icate of this <br />assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the property tax <br />list of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid <br />over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />Adopted this 28th day of <br /> <br />August <br /> <br />, 1984. <br /> <br /> <br />b~ <br /> <br />reus, Mayor <br /> <br />~- '-. <br /> <br />e.TT~~~.;~. ...: ...... <br />.
