<br />.r,. <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />i! <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO 84-120 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT ON POPPYSEED AREA ANDSTlflSONBOULEVARD CONCRETE <br />STREET REPAIRS PROJECT 83-8. AUDITORS NO. 5377 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New Brighton. Minnesota <br />as foll ows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS. pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law the City <br />Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed <br />assessment of the improvement of: <br /> <br />LOCATION: All benefitting lots located on or adjacent to the following <br />streets: <br /> <br />Poppyseed Drive. Poppyseed Circle. Rockstone Lane. Rockstone <br />Court. Foxwood Court and the east side of Stinson Boulevard <br />south of 1-694 and north of 5th Street NW. <br /> <br />BY: Joint and crack sealing and concrete panel repair and <br />repl acement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton. Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such proposed assessment. a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br />a part thereof. is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special <br />assessment against the lands named therein. and each tract of land <br />therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed <br />improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending <br />over a period of ten (10) years. the first installment to be payable <br />on or after the first Monday in January. 1985. and shall bear interest <br />at the rate of lOt percent per annum from the adoption of this <br />assessment resolution. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to <br />certification of the assessment to the County Auditor pay the whole <br />of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date <br />of payment. to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be <br />charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the <br />adoption of this resolution and he may, at any time thereafter. pay <br />the County Treasurer the balance of assessments remaining unpaid <br />with interest accrued in accordance with the statutes such in case <br />made and provided. <br />4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this <br />assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the property tax <br />1 ist of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid <br />over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />Adopted th i s 28th day of Auqust <br /> <br />, 1984. <br /> <br />~6~~r' <br /> <br />"Gregory .
