This project is <br />therefore subject to the approval of the rezoning request to <br />be considered by the City Council on March 27, 1979. <br /> <br />A variance is required because the applicant proposes to <br />construct 9 parking spaces whereas 35 parking spaces are <br />required. The applicantls reason for the variance request <br />is that 35 parking spaces are not needed by the applicant. <br />The site will be used for Hobar publications which is a mail <br />order catalog type business which has no retail sales or <br />customers coming to the site needing parking. The firm has <br />only one full time and two part-time employees. The <br />applicant proposes to construct four (4) spaces for customer <br /> <br />parking and five (5) spaces for employee parking with the <br />remainder of the property to be landscaped.
