<br />~ <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />Supplement To Report #79-392 <br />June 5, 1979 <br /> <br />A P P L I CAT I 0 NrfQ:R B U I L DIN G PER M I T <br />LP-87, SMAL'E' ENGINE SERVICE <br /> <br />PURPOSE <br /> <br />To review an amended site plan and floor plan for LP-87, Small Engine <br />Service. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />At its regular meeting Tuesday, May 22,1979, the City Council <br />deferedaction on LP-87 and asked the applicant to develop alternatives <br />which would change the appearance of the building to better conform <br />with existing commercial zoning. The attachments indicate the <br />alternatives proposed by the applicant. <br /> <br />The applicant is proposing to turn the building 900 and put in a <br />display window in the front of the building. This change will result <br />in the garage doors being located in the rear of the building. In <br />addition~, the applicant will be placing brick on the lower portion <br />of the front of the building, up to the display windows, with the <br />remainder to be cedar siding as earlier propo.sed. <br /> <br />Discussion at the May 22, 1979 Council Meeting also involved the <br />style of roof of the proposed building. The applicant has stated <br />that the building has been ordered and that there would be structural <br />difficulties in altering the slope of the roof. The applicant is <br />therefore not proposing a change in the roof at this time. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends that LP-87 be approved contingent on the applicant's <br />conformance with revised site and floor plans as submitted and <br />signed by the applicant and the City Planner. <br /> <br />~t~ j &l~ <br />~V;~~ <br />'I' /f9 <br /> <br />
