<br /> <br />,~ <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />The applicnat is proposing to construct a split entry office building <br />adjacent to the existing office building. &ecause of the close <br />proximity of the proposed building to the existin~ building, the <br />Building Inspector and Fire Department ~equire that there be rio <br />windows or doors on the south side of the pioposed building and <br />the windows and the door on the north side of the existing office <br />bu1ld~ng will to be closed off. ' <br /> <br />In addition the proposed building will have to have a two hour fire <br />wall on the south side and the applicant will have to provide some <br />type of fire retardant shingles on the roof of the ~roposed building. ' <br /> <br />The applicant and Tyson Trucking have petitioned the City to vacate <br />2nd Street S.W. Approval of this building permit application will <br />have to be contingent on the approval of the vacation because wit~- <br />out the vacation a variance would be needed for side street yard setback. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Board recommend approval of lP-89 by <br />simple motion' contingent on the closing off of all doors and windows <br />between the office buildings, the approval.of the vacation of 2nd <br />Street S.W., on the conformance with site and landscape plans_ <br />signed and dated by the applicant and City Planner. and the firial <br />grading and drainage be submitted and approved by the City Engineer~' <br /> <br />
