<br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br />The applicnat is proposing to construct a split entry office building <br />~djacent to the existing office building. Because of the close <br />proximjty of the proposed building to the existing building, the <br />Building lrispector and Fire Department requir~ that there be no <br />windows or doors on the south side of the p~oposed building and <br />the windows and the door on the north sfde of the existing office <br />building will to be closed off. <br /> <br />In addition the proposed building will have to have a two hQur fire <br />wall on the south side and the applicant will have to provide some <br />type of fir. retardant shingles on the" roof of the proposed b~ilding. <br /> <br />The applicant and Tyson Trucking have petitioned the City to vacate <br />2ndSt~~et S.W. Approval of this building permit application will <br />have to be c~ntingent on the approval of the vacation because with- <br />out the vacation a vatiance would be needed for sid~ street yard setback. <br /> <br />STAFFRECOMMENDAT10N <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Board recommend approval of LP-89 by <br />simple motion contingent on the closing off of all doors and windows <br />between the office buildings, the approval of the vacation of 2nd <br />Stre~tS.W.," on the conformance with site and landscape plans <br />signed and dated by the applicant and City Planner. and the final <br />grading and drainage be submitted and apprOved by the City Erigineer. <br /> <br />
