<br />CmUlcil Member Hoffman stated that if we were to pay per hour, the outcome would
<br />be far more costly.
<br />
<br />Council Member Bauman stated that she was unaware of the compensation plan,
<br />and the flTSt she knew of this was when she received her packet.
<br />
<br />It was reported that this was discussed at a work session, and the amount of
<br />$1,000 was discussed.
<br />
<br />Council Member Burg stated that by not having to hire a temporaIy~:plaCement
<br />there has been a substantial cost savings.
<br />
<br />Motion by Council Member Hoffman, seconded by Council Member Burg toappJ::ove
<br />the salary adjustment for the Acting City Manager positioneffective from July7~~996
<br />through January 31, 2007. . .
