<br /> I : ~ ". <br />.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />84-83 <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING BERNARD SKREBES IN HIS CANDIDACY FOR A <br />POSITION ON THE REGION TRANSIT BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bernard Skrebes seeks a position on the Region <br />Transit Board, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bernard Skrebes is a former Mayor of the City <br />of New Brighton, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bernard Skrebes is a senior citizen, and past <br />president and current Trustee of the Metropolitan Senior <br />Federation, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bernard Skrebes serves on the following: <br /> <br />1. Metropolitan Transit Commission's Advisory <br />Committee on Transportation <br /> <br />2. Metro Mobility's Advisory Task Force <br /> <br />3. Metro Mobility's Policy Management Committee <br /> <br />4. Transit Advisory Committee on Elderly and <br />Handicapped "504" <br /> <br />5. Chairman of St. John the Baptist Catholic <br />Church's Men's Club <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />of the City of New Brighton hereby supports Bernard Skrebes <br />in his candidacy for a position on the Region Transit Board. <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of June, 1984. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />( SEAL) <br />
