Paul, MN 55126 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Schroeder: <br /> <br />Following is a summary for the hydrologic and hydraulic analysis <br />for Printing Enterprize in New Brighton. <br /> <br />The proposed building expansion is 8496 square feet. This has the <br />impact of increasing the impervious area by 0.2 acres. To analyze <br />the impacts of the increased runoff, the computer program HYDROCAD <br />was used. The computer printouts enclosed define the land use and <br />time of concentration for the existing site and future site. <br /> <br />The 1-year and 100-year storm were ran to determine the size of the <br />baffle weir and high water elevation. Our analysis indicates that <br />the 100-year elevation is raised by 0.1 feet and the discharge by <br />0.1 cfs. There is no significant increase in elevation or <br />discharge to warrant expansion of the existing pond site. <br /> <br />The increased flow for the I-year is 0.4 cfs. Baffle weir area for <br />the new flow rate is 3.4 square feet.
