<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />January 23, 1990 <br /> <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />Council Business, continued <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Gunderman, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT THE RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LOAN AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTOR I S <br />PAYMENT. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates <br /> <br />The Team Building questionnaire has been distributed and should be <br />returned by January 31st. <br /> <br />Benke suggested several Team Building issues to be addressed this <br />year; Police Department mission, Community Center, waste <br />management/recycling, liquor operation, Sunnyside Street Project, <br />and the financial shortfall faced by the state. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Loan Agreement for <br />Contractor's Payment <br />Report 90-23 <br />Resolution 90-09 <br /> <br />Announcements & <br />Updates <br /> <br />Team Building Session <br /> <br />Team Building Issues <br /> <br />A Council work session has been scheduled for February 6th at 7:00 <br />p.m. The agenda will include the liquor operations, inter- Council Work Session <br />governmental relations, evaluation of team building session, and the <br />cable franchise package. <br /> <br />Council and District No. 621 School Board have tentatively scheduled <br />a meeting on March 15th at 5;30 p,m. Childs will contact District <br />No. 282 School Board to schedule a similar work session. <br /> <br />Gunderman reviewed an alternative evaluation form for the City <br />Manager six-month performance appraisal. Council will review the <br />use of Gunderman's proposed performance evaluation. <br /> <br />The new twice-monthly recycling pick-up schedule will begin in <br />February. Pi ck-ups wi 11 be on the fi rst and thi rd Mondays for <br />residences north of 1-694, and the first and third Tuesdays for <br />residences south of 1-694. <br /> <br />Wi 11 i ams offered the Ramsey County League of Local Government IS <br />assistance in any upcoming New Brighton issues. <br /> <br />School Board Meeting <br /> <br />City Manager <br />Evaluation <br /> <br />Recycling <br /> <br />RCLLG Assistance <br /> <br />There was some discussion of a condensed and less detailed version Council Meeting Minutes <br />of the Council meeting minutes. Staff was instructed to investigate <br />the recommendation. <br /> <br />Council requested staff to investigate the use of less paperwork for Council Packets <br />Council packets. <br />
