This se(:tion covers the materials and installation requirements for chain <br />link fencing and gates. <br /> <br />Gates for J 2 foot wide roae! openings shall have two 6 foot leafs, <br /> <br />Fencing shall be installed w. thin one week of completion of tower and shelter installation, <br />lfthis is not possible the Cc.nstruction Manager must be notified immediately and must <br />approve ofrhe delay. <br /> <br />Fencing shall be provided in the alignm.ent indicated on the drawings, <br /> <br />Any materials found not to be in compliance with these specifications shall be removed and <br />replaced at the Contractor's expense, <br /> <br />2E.2 ORA WINGS AND Q6IA. Complete detail drawings and specifications tor the <br />fence. gates, and accessori,e!l shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements of <br />Section I C. .. <br /> <br />2E,J FENCE TYPE, Fencing shall conform to the details indicated on the drawings and <br />shall consist of galvanized steel framework and aluminum coated steel fabric with a height <br />of 6 feet and an overall height of 7 teet from the bottom of the fabric to the top barbed <br />wire. The fence shall have a top rail, bo[[om tension wire, aIld three strands of barbed wire <br />mounted all 45 degree extension arms. The upper strand shall be approximately 12 inche~ <br />out trom the fence and 12 in{;hes above the top of the fabric, Posts shall be set in concrete <br />or in sleeves as detailed, <br /> <br />2E.4 MA.IERTALS, Materials for chain link fencing shall be as follows.
