RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION OF <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON (GENERALLY 788 CLEVELAND AVENUE SE) <br />WHEREAS, the City of New Brighton has been requested to subdivide certain property in the <br />City of New Brighton described as follows: <br />That part of Lot 2 of AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION NO. 26, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota, included in the following description: That part of the Southeast Quarter <br />of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 30, Range 23, described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point of the easterly line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast <br />Quarter of said Section 32, a distance of 960 feet southerly from the Northeast <br />corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 32, <br />thence, Westerly on a line parallel with the north line of said Southeast Quarter of <br />the Southeast Quarter a distance of 256.24 feet; thence Southerly on a line parallel <br />with the east line of said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter to the south <br />line of said Southeast Quarter of Section 32, thence easterly to the southeast corner <br />of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 32; thence Northerly along the east line <br />of said part sold to the State of Minnesota by Warranty Deed dated July 27, 1961, <br />and fiQ of record February 15, 1962, as Document No. 1556803 in Book 1777 <br />of Ramsey County Records, page 633. <br />WHEREAS, State Statutes require that if such property is located in municipalities that <br />have adopted a platting ordinance, approval of the municipality must be obtained before such <br />subdivisions can be filed; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 26-24 of the New Brighton City Code provides for subdivision of <br />property without platting if certain criteria can be met. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Planning Commission of the City of New <br />Brighton recommends approval of the subdivision of the above-described property into <br />parcels described as follows: <br />Parcel I <br />That part of Lot 2 of AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION NO. 26, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br />included in the following description: That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast <br />Quarter of Section 32, Township 30, Range 23, described as follows: <br />ii <br />Pagel of 3
