<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof, a regular meeting of the New Brighton City Council was held <br />Tuesday, March 14, 1989, at 7:45 p.m. in the municipal building, 803 Fifth Avenue NW. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Gunderman, Councilmembers Brandt and Williams. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Benke, Councilmember Larson <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: <br /> <br />Margaret Egan, Finance Director <br />John Kelley, Police Chief <br />Charlie LeFevere, City Attorney <br />Kevin Locke, Community Development Director <br />Anne Norris, Community Development Specialist <br />Samantha Orduno, Acting City Manager <br />Les Proper, Public Works Director <br />Richard Wriskey, City Forestor <br /> <br />CO'Jnci 1 Mi nutes <br /> <br />Mot; on by Wi 11 i ams, seconded by Brandt to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE FEBRUARY 28, 1989, COUNCIL MEETING. <br /> <br />3 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Commission Minutes - None <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />Orduno informed the Council that there has been a two-car collision <br />this evening which involved two New Brighton Police Officers. <br />Officer Werneke suffered leg injuries.
