Village of New Brighton <br />Council Proceedings <br />April 24, 1973 <br />3 <br />Motion by Anderson, seconded by Rebelein to grant approval <br />of preliminary plat PL-86 with approval being on revised <br />plat dated March 14, 1973 and subject to a resolution of <br />problems with outlot A and B <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried RESOLUTION <br />Motion by Anderson, seconded by Eagon to waive reading #1212 <br />and adopt resolution entitled RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF <br />NEW BRIGHTON (property located S.W. corner of Foss Road <br />and Highway 8) <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes carried <br />Attorney stated hearing was properly called <br />Ken Benson, architect for Basic Industries, SP-49 <br />explained proposal to the council Basic <br />Verg Paulson, employee of Basic Industries, Industries <br />answered council questions. <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Anderson to close hearing <br />5 ayes"- 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Bromander, seconded by Anderson to receive <br />letter_ from Levitt, Palmer, Bowen, Bearmon and Rotman, <br />Law Offices dated April 24, 1973. <br />5 ayes-- 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Anderson to grant special <br />use permit SP-49 to Basic Industries for the manufacture <br />of precision parts primarily for the computer industries <br />for parcel A with north boundary being the red line as <br />indicated by site plan dated April 24, 1973 which has <br />been signed by petitioner representative and Village <br />Clerk and filed in the Clerk's office with the additional <br />condition that no outside storage be permitted <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />New Business <br />Motion by Anderson, seconded by Eagon to receive letter <br />from Kraus/Anderson dated April 18, 1973 <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Eagon, seconded by Rebelein to receive report RESOLUTION <br />on traffic circulation, Brighton Village Shopping Center #1213 <br />5 ayes 0 nayes - carried <br />Jim Finlaysen, representing Kraus/Anderson, explained <br />position of his company. <br />Motion by Anderson, seconded by Eagon to waive reading <br />and adopt resolution entitled RESOLUTION REFERRING PROPOSED <br />IMPROVEMENT 74-3, PIKE LAKE DRIVE EXTENDED TO ENGINEER FOR <br />STUD.' AND REPORT, RECEIVING ENGINEER'S PRELIMINARY STUDY AND REPORT <br />AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT 74-3 AND ORDERING VILLAGE <br />CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried
