Tentative decisions had been made to
ban left turns in this area and to plan for ultimate channel-
ization and signalization of the Palmer Drive intersection.

Also at that time, Darrell Farr Development Corp,. was
df"sirous of extending North Innsbruck Drive directly east
to Silver Lake Road to a separate intersection 800 feet north
of Palmer Drive.

Wi~ those things in mind, our firm prepared a traffic
appraisal of probable 1985 traffic conditions that would
exist under two conditions:

1. One intersection (Palmer Drive) serving all traffic
, generated by the connnercial area and lnnsbruck.

2. Two intersections, one at Palmer Drive for the com-
mercial area and a.-separate intersection for 1nnsbruck.

The traffic appraisal indicated that either plan could
provide adequate traffic service. Subsequently it wa.s decided
that the one intersection plan was most acceptable to the
agencies, and planning for the lnnsbruck development has pro-
ceeded on that basis.

WHITE BEAR HfLLS PROFESSIONAL CENTER

.

2553 EAST COUNTY ROAD E

.
