<br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />SP-56 <br />September 11, 1974 - 8:20 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Gordon Hedlund <br /> <br /> <br />LOCatiol1: Silver Lake Rd. and Third St. NW <br />(LotI, Block 1,Bristol Estates) <br /> <br />The house which would be moved is presently located on the <br />frontage road immediately west of Minar Ford. <br /> <br /> <br />Request: Approval of special use permit \asrequired in Section <br />13-090 to move a house to the location above. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br /> <br />While heavily damaged, the house is structurally sound. <br />Acsording to the applicant, the present garage wil:J..beremoved <br />anewtuck..under garage constructed facing 3rd Street. The <br />i,s also to be resided and some interior remodeling done. <br /> <br />The house will have to conform to the 'Zoning and Building Codes <br />and will have to be moved by a hous~ mover licensed by the City. <br /> <br /> <br />iTheonly additional requirements imposed on previous applicants <br />are that they post a bond guaranteeing that the house be brought <br />up to Code and that they post another bond to insure prompt repair <br />of any damage to streets or utilities. If these bonds are required, <br />recommended amounts would be $10,000 and $1,000 respectively. <br /> <br />We will have photographs of the existing house available for <br />review at the time of the Council meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />Planninq Commission Consideration (8/20/74): <br /> <br />There being no objections, the agenda order was changed to <br />consider this item at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Gordon Hedlund presented plans showing how the house would <br />be positioned on the lot and showing the interior floor plan. <br /> <br />Planninq Commission Recommendation (8/20/74): <br /> <br /> <br />Motion by Daniels, seconded by Bohling, to recommend approval <br />pfS~-56with the condition that the house be located on LotI, <br />Block 1, Bristol Estates and that the Council consider requiring a <br /> <br />
