<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeti g Minutes <br />September 27, 1988 <br /> <br />S ecial Order of Business continued <br /> <br />Ms. Goepel al 0 presented antique hubcap plaques to the following <br />individuals a d community organizations for their sponsorship and <br />financial con ributions in the Second Annual Antique Car Run: <br /> <br />City of New B ighton - Host City <br />Tri-City American Legion - Sponsor <br />Bernickls Pepsi - Sponsor <br />New Brighton Lion's Club - Contributors, sponsored trips of Mayor <br />Patricia Hawkes, Secretary John Piper, Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Smith. <br />New Brighton Chamber of Commerce - Contributors, sponsored BMX Bike <br />Show and general financial support. <br />New Brighton Eagles - Contributors, sponsored banners. <br />John Risdall Advertising - Contributor, provided creative and <br />technical services at cost. <br /> <br />Ms. Goepel also thanked the following contributors: New Brighton <br />Rotary Club, Mr. and Mrs. Senden, Mr. and Mrs. Benke, Dave Hole, New <br />Brighton Sportsman Club, Eagles Auxiliary, Lioness Club, New Brighton <br />Historical Society, Hank Larson, Mel Sorenson, Dwayne and Curt <br />Carlson, Rick Kush, Police, Maintenance, Park and Recreation, and <br />many others. <br /> <br />Mayor Benke commended the Anti que Car Run Board and the many <br />contributors for their participation in this outstanding event. <br /> <br />Gayle Bromander, New Brighton Historical Society, presented to the <br />Council a brick from the original Beisswenger1s Building. <br /> <br />Glen Pletcher, Lion's Club, presented to the Council a 60th Annual <br />Squash Festival Button.
