Nordby pointed out that the o"mer ~:Joulo have to come to the <br />Planning Commission and Council for approval of a third driveway <br />in any case. He stateo that in his professional juogment, <br />the site plan as presented is the best plan. He noted that the <br />light poles are only 14 feet high and have an illumination of <br />three foot candles, which is a low level of illumination. He <br />stated that this will not be a football field in terms of its <br />lighting effect. <br /> <br />In reply to a question by Mr. Fritz Werdouschegg, Mr. Nordby noted <br />the buffer strip along the north part of the property contained <br />4 foot arbovitae which would grow to provide a further screen in <br />the future. He also noted that the light ~:Jas directed imvarc1. <br /> <br />In reply to a question by Mr. citron, Mr. Nordy stated that <br />the lights would be sodium lamps. <br /> <br />Mr. citron stated that sodium has had some ecological impacts <br />as a defoliant. <br /> <br />\ <br />'---- <br /> <br />Mr. Nordby stated that in other projects he has used sodium lights <br />ano there have been no negative consequences. <br /> <br />Motion by Anderson, seconded by Partyka, to recommend approval <br />of LP-?7. <br />Motion carrieo, ~-O <br />
