PAUL, MINNESOTA 55144 Phone (612) 646-7129 July 13, 1976 City Council Members Planning Commission Members City of New Brighton New Brighton, Minnesota Dear Council & Planning Commission Members: We are submitting to you, for your review and consideration, the 'following items in regard to the property at 1155 Old Highway #8 that we wish to purchase: Lower Operating Cost 1. Employee and customer parking spaces have been noted as #1 and #2 on sketch One (1). The 9 ft. x 20 ft. parking space and the 300 square foot total space per car has been observed. 2.. Our exterior refuse storage bin is noted as item #3 on sketch One (1). This is a covered metal bin serviced by the Browning - Feriss Company. 3. We have one 01) exterior light. This is a 2 tube - 24 inch fixture that is mounted on a 14 foot pole, 240 ft. east of Highway #8 and 65 ft. south of the office and shop building. The light is noted as #4 on sketch one (1). 4. Our new sales trailers will be parked facing east, with the rear of the trailer at the edge of the front yard. These are noted as item #5 on sketch One (1). 5. A sketch (2) is to show the existing entrance and our proposed changes in this entrance. We would plan on widening the driveway to 33 ft. for more ease and s{l.fety, and less congestion in entrance and egress. We also plan on constructing a four inch berm to control the water run off that comes south on Highway #8. This run off has been causing the erosion noted on the sketch. We have met with lVIr. Wayne Leonard and Mr. Paul Kirkwald of the Ramsey County Highway Department and they have approved of these proposed changes and have explained to us their plans for the area. 6. We have submitted sketch #3 to show our landscaping plans. The site plan submitted by the present owner at the time of their securing approval has been followed.
