November 24, 1976

Mr. Elton Dahlke
Dahlke Trailer Sales
1155 Old Highway 8
New Brighton, MN 55112

Re: Bond for Temporary Certificate of Occupancy

Dear Mr. Dahlke:

Per our conversation, the following is a summary of the work
that should be accounted for in the bond for the Temporary Certificate
of Occppancy:

1. Concrete curbing provided along driveways and landscaped
areas. Such curbing to extend to the front line of the
building. Based on scaled measurements from your approved
site plan, I would estimate that approximately 600 lineal
feet of concrete curbing would have to be provided.

2. Sodding in the area south of your driveway and west of
your trailers parked nearest to Old Highway 8.

3. Cotonaster shrubs (approximately 50) planted to form
a 3~' to 4~t hedge adjacent to the curbing that will be
provided south of your driveway, and east of Old Highway 8.

4. A gravel base dustless treated surface.

5. Aussian Olive trees planted along 1-694 to form a single
line screen.

6. Additional p1antings east of Old Highway 8 to replace
dead trees presently on site.

I would note that all of the above site work is as shown on
your site plan approved by the New Brighton City Council August 24,1976.
The New Brighton Building Inspector has estimated the cost of the
work to be $4,000. In order to secure the temporary certificate of
occupancy, a bond equal to the valuation of work to be completed
will have to be posted. The actual bond posted may be in the
form of a cash deposit to the City, a surety bond or other appropriate
guarantee acceptable to our City Attorney.
