That a 2.3 foot variance is a reasonable approximation of <br />the sideyard setback requirement; <br />4. That no special privilege due to intensity of development <br />is provided <br />and that such variance be approved conditioned on conformance <br />with the plan submitted labeled "preferred approach." <br /> <br />Motion by Senden, seconded by Werdouschegg to amend the <br />variance to permit 3.3 foot sideyard setback in order to <br />permit a standard garage to be constructed. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Werdouschegg <br />Senden <br />Bromander <br />Motion carried <br />Vote on motion as <br />Werdouschegg <br />Senden <br />Fisher <br />Bromander <br />Motion carried <br />Mayor Bromander noted that Mary Medved, past chairperson <br />of the New Brighton Bicentennial Committee, had not been <br />able to attend the last meeting to receive an award and <br />was present at this meeting. <br />Mayor Bromander presented a certificate of award to <br />Mary Medved and extended to her the appreciation of <br />the City Council and the City for her work on <br />the Bicentennial Committee. <br />Mrs. Medved summarized the activities of the <br />Bicentennial Committee during 1976 and expressed the <br />hope that the materials generated by the Committee <br />could be bound and sold.
