WHEREAS, an application for a special use permit No. 75 has been made to the City and said application has been processed, rceviewed by the planning Commission and considered by the Council at a public nearing and w~REAS, the property at 854 5th Avenue NW is a buildin of multiple occupancy having both shared and individual entrances within the meaning of the term as defined in the sign ordinance, and WHEREAS, the New Brighton Sign Ordinance st.ates that buildings of multiple occupancy having both individual entrane s and shared entrances shall be areas of special control fOr purposes of sign regulation, and WHEREAS, the New Brighton Sign Ordinance states that in areas of special control, the city Council may establish special sign regulations by special permit, and WHER~S, the regulations in areas of special control most appropr.iate to the property at 854 5th Avenue NW are those regulating shopping centers, NOW 'l'HBREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By th.Cit.y Council of t.he city of New Brighton that the following gindings of Fact are made in respect to SP-75: FINDINGS OF FACT. 1. What an application for SP-75 was filed with the City on September 16, 1976r 2. That the application met the technical requirements for consideration by the Cityr 3. That the Planning Commission considered the application at its regular meeting held on September 21, 1976 and October 19, 1976: 4. That the City Council, pursuant to pt.$11shed and mailed notice, held a public hearing on NOvember 9, 1976 to consider the application: 5. The writtlen comments anda.nalysis oftne City Planner, the Planning Commission minutes and recommendations, and all persons' statements made at the ~blie hearing were considered including the statements of the applicant.
