<br />RESOLUTION NO <br />NE\~ B RIGHT on {P1AlJN ING COMM IS SI ON <br />BOARD OF REV I EVJ <br />RESOLUTION t4AKING FINDl~GSoF FACT ANDRECO~1MENDING APPROVAL OF <br />THE AMENDMENT TO SPEct~L USE PERMIT, SP~78 <br /> <br />HHEREAS, An application for an amendment to special use <br />permit, SP-78 has been made by RCE Corporation to amend the <br />plan for the Rice Creek Shapping Center~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The pracedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1. That an application for a amendment to special use permit, <br />SP~78was filed with the City on February l5J 1980. <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the <br />application at its regular meeting on February 19, 1980. <br />3. The written comments and analysis of the City Planner and <br />all person's statements made at the Board of Review <br />meeting were considered. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Review that the <br />following Findings of Fact are mad~ in respect to amending <br />SP-78: <br /> <br />1. The amendment to the sign plan will provide more effective <br />identifi~ation of arcade ten~nts; <br />2. That the amendment wi 11 reduce cl utter and wi 11 not <br />interfere with the architectural features af the building; <br />3. That the proposed directory sign would be consistent with <br />the general purposes ofSP-78 and the sign ordinance. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the application for an amendment <br />to SP-78 is and hereby recommended for approval subject to ~he <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the following items of the sign plan approved on <br />October 25, 1977 be amended under Section IITenants With <br />Arcade Frontagell to read: <br /> <br />6. A directory sign, 51 by 191911, is to be located <br />above the entrance of the arcade on th.e south side <br />of the bu-jlding. The directory sign shall contain <br />15 interchangeable plates with the name of tenants <br />only. The arcade tenants will not be allowed any <br />other signable area on the exterior wall of the <br />center. <br />8. To be deleted. <br />9. To be deleted. <br />10. To be deleted. <br />11. To be deleted. <br /> <br />2. T hat a 11 e xi s tin g s i 9 n s i den t i f Y i n gar cad e t e na nt s mus t <br />be removed prior to the issuance of the permit for the <br />directory sign; <br /> <br />3 .
