That an application for a special use permit SP-79
was filed with the City on April 13, 1978~

2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the
application at its meeting of April 18, 1978~

3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and
mailed notices, held a public hearing on May 9, 1978
to consider the application. All persons present
at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard.

4. That general purpose of the sign ordinance is to
promote sound identification, reduction of clutter
and aesthetic enhancement~

2. That the building design and location create a
situation where signing must be handled sensitive1y~

3. That wall and window signs would not be consistent
with the general purposes of the sign ordinance~

4. That a single ground sign as proposed would provide
sound identification and would be compatible with the
general area.

.-
