. .. RESOLUTION NO. STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SP-84. WHEREAS an application for a special use permit SP~84 has been made by All Season Comfort, Inc., 55 Mound AveI}ue, for a signing plan, and WHEREAS the procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That an application for SP-84 was filed with the city of New Brighton on October'lO, 1978. 2. That the Planning Commission reviewed the application at its meeting of October 17, 1978. 3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing on October 24, 1978 to consider the application. All person's present at the public hearing were:given an opportunity to be heard. 4. That the written comments and analysis d the Director of Community Development, the Planning Cpmmission recommendation and all person's statements made at the hearing were considered. ' NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of New Brighton that the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to SP-84: I: 1. That buildings of multiple occupancy require a sensitive handling of signing relative to their unique needs. 2. That the applicants building is uniquely located adjacent to I-35W, at the end of a dead end street. 3. That the proposed signing is attractive, provides sound identificat10n and is consistent with the intent of the sign ordinance. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that SP-84 is and hereby approved and that the following are the standards of the sign plan: 1. That signing for the east or freeway side of the structure shall be as shown on the attached exhibit "A" . .;".. .,' ,{, ... \'i- .
