<br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SP-84.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS an application for a special use permit SP-84
<br />has been made by All Season Comfort, Inc., 55 Mound AveI1ue,
<br />for a signing plan, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS the procedural history of the application is as
<br />follows:
<br />
<br />1. That an application for SP-84 was filed with the
<br />City of New Brighton on October 10,1978.

<br />2. That the Planning Commission reviewed the application
<br />at its meeting of October 17, 1978.
<br />
<br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and
<br />mailed notices, held a public hearing on October 24,
<br />1978 to consider the application. All person's
<br />present at the public hearing were':given an opportunity
<br />to be heard.
<br />
<br />4. That the written comments and analysis a the Director
<br />of Community Development, the Planning Commission
<br />recommendation and all person's statements made
<br />at the hearing were considered.

<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
<br />of New Brighton that the following Findings of Fact are made
<br />in respect to SP-84:
<br />
<br />1. That buildings of multiple occupancy require a
<br />sensitive handling of signing relative to their
<br />unique needs.
<br />
<br />2. That, the applicants building is uniquely located
<br />adjacent to I-35W, at the end of a dead end street.

<br />3. That the proposed signing is attractive, provides
<br />sound identificat10n and is consistent with the
<br />intent of the sign ordinance.

<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that SP-84 is and hereby approved
<br />and that the following are the standards of the sign plan:
<br />
<br />1. That signing for the east or freeway side of the
<br />structure shall be as shown on the attached exhibit
<br />"A" .
