That an application for a special use permit <br />was filed with the City on March 14, 1979. <br /> <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the <br />application at its regular meeting on March 20, 1979. <br /> <br />3. The written comments and analysis of the City Planner <br />and all .person's statements made at the Board of <br />Review meeting were considered. <br /> <br />I NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Review that <br />I the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to SF-8S: <br />I <br />I <br />I 1. The general purpose of the sign ordinance is to <br />promote sound identification, reduction of clutter <br />and aesthetic enhancement: <br /> <br />I <br />II <br /> <br />2. That the building design and location create a <br />situation where signing must be handled sensitively: <br /> <br />3. That wall signs would not be consistent with the <br />general p~rposes of the sign ordinance: <br /> <br />4. That a single ground sign as proposed would provide <br />sound identification and would be compatible with <br />the general area. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the application for SP-8S <br />is hereby recommended for approval subject to the following: <br /> <br />1. That no more than one (1) ground sign shall be <br />permitted on the property; <br /> <br />2. That the ground sign contain building name and <br />tenant names only; <br /> <br />3. That such ground sign shal1not exceed Sixty-four (64) <br />square feet in area nor 20 feet in height, and shall <br />have a minimum 'setback' of thIrteen. (.13) feet~) <br />four.
