That an application for a special use permit SP-8S <br />was filed; with the City on March 14, 1979. <br /> <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the <br />applicatipn at its regular meeting on March 20, 1979. <br />l <br />3. The writt~n comments and analysis of the City Planner <br />and all "person's statements made at the Board of <br />Review meeting were considered. <br />I <br />I <br />NOW THEREFORE I BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Review that <br />the following Find~ngs of Fact are made in respect to SP-8S: <br />I <br />1. The general purpose of the sign ordinance is to <br />promote spund identification, reduction of clutter <br />and aesth~tic enhancement: <br />! <br />2. That the building design and location create a <br />situation1where signing must be handled sensitively: <br /> <br />! <br />3. That wall'! signs would not be consistent with the <br />general p,urposesof the sign ordinance: <br /> <br />" <br />Ii <br /> <br />4. That a single ground sign as proposed would provide <br />sound identification and would be compatible with <br />. the general area. <br /> <br />II <br />II <br />.1 <br />Ii <br />I: <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the application for SP-8S <br />is hereby recommended for approval subject to the following: <br /> <br />1. That no more than one (1) ground sign shall be <br />permitted on the property: <br /> <br />I <br />2. That the ground sign contain building name and <br />tenant names only: <br />I <br />3. That suchl ground sign shall not exceed sixty-four (64) <br />square feet in area nor 20 feet in height, and shall <br />have a minimum 'setback'of thlrteen(l3) feet~) <br />four (4) inches :'from '8th.Avenue N.W.: <br /> <br />, <br />'i <br />I <br />II <br />Ii <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I, <br /> <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br /> <br />
