<br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON
<br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION
<br />FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT, SP-86, HARSTAD-TODD
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, an application for a Special Use Permit, entitled
<br />SP-86 has been made by Harstad-Todd to permit the extraction
<br />and removal of natural material from property in an R-l, Single
<br />Family District, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as
<br />follows:
<br />
<br />1. That an application for a Special Use Permit; SP~86
<br />was filed with the City of New Brighton on April 11,
<br />1979.
<br />
<br />2. That such application was reviewed by the Kew Brighton
<br />Planning Commission Board of Review on April 17, 1979.
<br />
<br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and
<br />mailed notices, held a public hearing on April 24,
<br />1979, all person's present at th~ hearing were given
<br />an opportunity to be heard.
<br />
<br />4. The written comments and analysis of the City staff,
<br />the Planning Commission minutes and r~commendations
<br />were considered.
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RES01VEn, that the New Brighton City
<br />Council makes th~ following Findings of Fact in respect to
<br />S p- 8 6 .
<br />
<br />1. That the proposed extraction is consistent with the
<br />grading plan of the preliminary plat.
<br />
<br />2. That the surrounding properties would not be adversely
<br />affected.
<br />
<br />3. That the affected properties will be left in a
<br />satiSfactory condition.
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the application SP-86 is
<br />hereby approved subject to the following:
<br />
<br />1. That the finished grades, site restoration plans and
<br />hauling routes are approved by the City Engineer.
<br />
