<br />~~- ... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT, SP-87 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, An application for a special use permit entitled <br />SP-87 has been made by the City of New Brighton to permit the <br />storage of ag-lime and seal coating aggregate on a site located <br />generally north of Old Highway #8 and adjacent to the Community <br />Resource Center. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That an application for a special use permit; SP-87 <br />was filed with the City of New Brighton on September 12, <br />1979. ' <br />2. That such application was reviewed by the New Brighton <br />Planning Commission Board of Review on September 18, <br />1979. <br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and mailed <br />notices, held a public hearing on October 9, 1979, <br />all person's present at the hearing were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. <br />4. The written comments and analysis of the City staff, <br />the Planning Commission minutes and recommendations <br />were considered. - <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton City <br />Council makes the following .Findings of Fact in respect to <br />SP-87: <br /> <br />1. That the property is zoned R-l, Sing1e Family Residential <br />2. That the piles are low and adequately screened by the <br />existing mature trees on the site; <br />3. That the material to be stored does not present any <br />substantial danger to the health and safety of area <br />residents; <br />4. That the grade difference makes the low piles less <br />visible from the public right-of-way; <br />5. That the storage of the material will not adversely <br />affect adjoining properties. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the application is hereby <br />approved subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the piles be kept in the rear of the site, be <br />situated in an orderly manner and be kept low and <br />unobtrusive. <br />2. That the site be maintained and be free of refuse and <br />debris. <br />3. That City staff monitor the site to assure that the <br />piles of stored material do not present a safety <br />hazard. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-. <br />
