RESOLUTION NO I I I I , NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COMMISSION BOARD OF REVIEW RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT, SP-87 WHEREAS, An application for a special use permit, SP-87 has been made by the City of New Brighton to allow the storage of ag-lime and sealcoating aggregate on a site located generallY north of Old Highway #8 and adjacent to the Community Resource Center. WHEREAS, The procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That an application for a special use permit, SP-87 was filed with the City on September 12, 1979. 2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the application at its regular meeting on September 18, 1919. 3. The written comments and analysis of the City Planner and all person's statements made at the Board of Review meeting were considered. II i I NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Review that the following Findings of Fact are made in respect to SP-87: .1. That the property is zoned R-l, Single Family Residential; 2. That the piles are low and adequately screened by the existing,mature trees on the site; 3. That the material to be stored does not present any substantialdarigerr to the he~lth: andsafetyofjarea~~ resi dents; 4. That the grade difference provides screening from the public right-of-way; 5. That the storage of the material will not adversely affect adjoining properties. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That t~e application SP-87 is hereby recommended for approval subject to the following conditions: 1. That the piles be kept in the rear of the site, be situated in an orderly manner and be kept low and unobtrusive. 2. That the site be maintained and be free of refuse and debris. 3. That City staff monitor the site to assure that the piles of stored material do not present a safety hazard. II I I I I day 0 f , 1979.
