MINNESOTA 55112 · 612-633-4311

June 5, 1980

City of New Brighton
803 Fifth Avenue Northwest
New Brighton, Minnesota 55112

ATTN: Joan Archer

The United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities respectfully requests
the concurrance of the City of New Brighton with our proposal to use
temporarily four student apartments for faculty and administrative
offices. .

The four apartments involved are on the upper floor, south end (see
Floor Plan attached) of the apartment building just North of the present
educational build.ing on campus (see Campus Plan attached). Apartments
A-21 and A-23 will be used as offices and a lounge for three faculty,
and apartments A-22 and A-24 will be used as development offices for
three professional and two support staff. We anticipate this temporary
use arrangement will be made this Summer for a period of not less than
three years nor more than five years. In addition, no significant
remodeling will be done for this temporary use, since we wish to preserve
the apartment character of these facilities for use as student housing,
once this temporary use period is completed.

To assist the City in acting on our request, I am also enclosing an
official Ramsey County Abstract of Title containing a list of fee
owners of property abutting the Seminary campus. Please advise as to
how I and our staff can be of further assistance.

Sincerely,

~/J.~

Dayton D.
