<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL USE <br />PERfv1IT, SP-95 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, An application for a special use permit entitled SP-95 has been <br />made by Medical Psychiatry Associates for signage at 721 5th Aveneu NH; and <br /> <br />HHEREAS, The procedural history of the application is as follows: <br /> <br />1. That an application for special use permit, SP-95 was filed with <br />the City of New Bri ghton on December 15, 1980. <br />2. That such application was reviewed by the New Brighton Planning <br />Commission Board of Review on December 16, 1980. <br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held <br />a public hearing on January 13, 1981, all person's present at the <br />hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. <br />4. The writtem comments and analysis of the City staff, the Planning <br />Commission minutes and recommendations were considered. <br /> <br /> l. <br /> 2. <br />.. 3. <br /> 4. <br /> 5. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the New Brighton City Council makes <br />the following Findings of Fact in respect to SP-95: <br /> <br />That the property is zoned B-3, General Business; <br />The general purpose of the sign ordinance is to promote sound <br />identification, reduction of clutter and aesthetic enhancement; <br />That the building design and location create a situation where <br />signing must be handled sensitively; <br />That the wall sign would be consistent with the general purposes <br />of the sign ordinance; <br />That the single wall sign as proposed would provide sound <br />identification would be compatible with the general.area. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That application SP-95 is and hereby approved <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That no more than one (1) \'Jallsign shall be permitted on the property <br />2. That the wall sign contain the names of onlytwofjrms and tenant <br />names shall' not exceed 4 in number nor 3 inches in lett~ring size; and <br />3.
