He noted~hat in regard to the staff report <br />under Staff Comments tha~Item #2 that there was only <br />one guy anc.hor that is on the property line. He further <br />noted that he did not provide information for a claspe <br />radius because the discussion ih the past involved fall <br />radius. Mr. Boudreau further commented that the tower is <br />65 feet i~ height and that the antennae extend~hat height <br />to about 80 feet. <br /> <br />SP-99 BOUDREAU <br />7 : 37 P. i". to <br />8:05 P.M. <br /> <br />:): <br />1, <br /> <br />,;. <br /> <br />~} <br /> <br />In regard to the requirement for a setback from utility <br />and power lines the applicant stated that his tower met <br />all electrical codes and felt it was a safe structure. <br /> <br />He then presented a copy of a statement signed by three <br />of his neighbors indicating that they had no objections <br />to the radio-~ower~- <br /> <br />SP-99 BOUDREAU <br />7:37 P.M. to <br />8:05 P"M. <br />(con It) <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Baker with the consent of the Board received <br />a letter dated July 28, 1981. - <br /> <br />Mr. Boudreau indicated that the situation being considered <br />has been going on for some time and that he felt that this <br />particular installation created no danger of falling on <br />adjacent structures and that the neighbors supported the <br />project. He questioned the number of applications of a <br />similar nature that the City has consideredwi~hin the <br />last year and wanted staff to investigate antennae's located <br />on the Northern Pipeline Company and McLean Trucking Company. <br /> <br />Commissioner Livingston stated that staff would investigate <br />the other towers mentioned but that had no reflection on the <br />review of this particular request. <br /> <br />Commissioner Knuth stated that the site plan should have also <br />included the neighbors trees. Commissioner Knuth also <br />questioned the purpose of this tower. <br /> <br />Mr. Boudreau indicated that it was incidential to his property <br />and served 'as a hobby and recreational purposes for him and <br />his. family. <br /> <br />Commissioner Helge~on indicated that staff has a tremendous <br />and overwhelming job to enforce the code and that such code <br />enforcement should" not reflect on this particular application. <br /> <br />Motion by Knuth, second by Sande to close the hearing. <br />6 Ayes - 1 Nay (Weaver), Motion Carried <br /> <br />) <br />Motion by Knuth, second by El~~uist to recommend de~ial of <br />SP-99 by waiving the reading and adopting a resolution making <br />findings of Fact. <br />7 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br />
