<br /><t <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES <br />NEW BRIGHTON PLANNING COMMISSION <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />APRIL 20, 1982 <br /> <br />SP-103, LP-124 CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH <br /> <br />Chairman Williams opened the pUblic hearing. Staff <br />reviewed the conditions in the proposed resolution. <br /> <br />Leonard Krumm, representing the church, stated that the <br />church agreed to comply with the conditions. <br /> <br />Bob Kozel, 810 Oakwood Drive reviewed for the Planning <br />Commission the drainage problems of the past years in <br />that area. He voiced a concern over the development <br />creating any problems with storm water run-off and <br />requested that the City examine the plans carefully. <br /> <br />Robert L. Dakin, 803 22nd Avenue NW, stated that he was <br />concerned over the past ,condition and appearance of the <br />pot hole located in the northwest side of the site. <br /> <br />Mr. Krumm commented on the proposed grading and drainage <br />plan and stated that the low ponding area would be <br />mowed and maintained. <br /> <br />Mr. Kozel stated that it was important to him to have <br />the curbing on the eastern driveway maintained so that <br />the runoff could not go down the hill to his home. <br /> <br />Motion by Knuth, second by Williams to .close the public <br />hearing. . ' <br />7 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Knuth, second by Wil,liams to recommend approval <br />of SP-103 by adopting a resolution with the following <br />conditions: ' <br /> <br />1. That there be a thirty foot foot yard landscaped <br />area with the installation of additional plantings <br />to screen the front yard parking from persons ' <br />traveling on 7th Street NW; <br />2. That all driving and parking .areas be enclosed <br />with the required curbing; <br />3. That there be at least 229 parking spaces on the <br />site; <br />4. That the City Engineer approve final parking <br />design; and <br />5. That the relocation of the refuse shed by approved <br />by the City Planner and is properly screened. <br />7 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />SP-103 <br />lP-124 <br />8:35 P.M. to <br />8:55 P.M. <br />
