Downtown Business District <br />Dance Hall/Social Center <br /> <br />The Planning Commission at its May 4, 1982 special meeting continued <br />the public hearing and requested that the applicant provide a definitive <br />parking study to resolve the lack of required parking spaces and also <br />directed staff to set up a tour. <br /> <br />Because of the short'amount of time, the applicant has not provided <br />additional information regarding parking. A tour of the Camel Club was <br />set up for Saturday May 15, 1982 by the applicant but staff and the <br />Planning Commission were unable to attend, <br /> <br />The applicant has stated that he will meet with staff Monday May 17, <br />1982 to review his parking findings. The applicant and staff will give <br />a verbal report at the meeting. <br /> <br />,RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />If a parking solution is not arrived at, staff recommends that the <br />Planning Commission recommend denial of SP-104 by waiving the reading <br />and adopting the attached resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />IJJ. ~ <br /> <br />Archer, City Planner <br />
