COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />VILLAGE OF NEt~t BRIGHTON - <br />Pursuant to due call and published notice thereof, a regular meeting. <br />of the New Brighton Village Council was held at 8 p.m., May 9, 1972 <br />in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 803 5th Avenue N.W., <br />New Brighton, Minnesota <br />Presente Mayor Gayle C. Bromander, Councilmen Diana Eagon, Gene Fisher, <br />D. L. Moen, Paul Rebelein <br />Also Present: Thomas F. Lewcock, Village Manager; Perry Copeland, <br />Village Attorney; Vernon, C. Pederson, Clerk-Treasurer; <br />' Quentin K. Wood, Director of Public Works <br />Motion by Eagon,~seconded by Fisher to approve <br />minutes of regular meeting of April 25, 1972 <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Special Order of Business <br />Mr. William Chapman and Mr. Otto Schmid presented <br />a report to the council on proposed comprehensive <br />planning services of Nason, Wehrman, Chapman; <br />Associates, Inc. <br />Public Hearings <br />Attorney stated hearing was properly called <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Moen to table <br />hearing until later in the meeting <br />5 ayes =- 0 nayes -carried <br />Attorney stated. hearing was properly called <br />Motion by Moen, seconded by Fisher to close <br />hearing <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes -- carried <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Rebelein to approve <br />PL-79, Sollie Addition <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Attorney stated hearing was properly called <br />Mr. Al Schendel, engineer representing Universal <br />sales, Tnc. spoke <br />Motion by Bromander, seconded by Rebelein to <br />continue hearing on SP-44 until"July 11 at 8:15 <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes -.carried <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Fisher to close <br />hearing <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Bromander, seconded by Moen to grant <br />VN-83 with the stipulation that patio remains.. <br />as shown on landscape plan dated 4/24/72 <br />Councilman Fisher asked that it be recorded that <br />the reason he was voting aye is because of the error <br />in this proceeding by the Village <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Minutes <br />4/25/72 <br />Proposed <br />Planning Service <br />VN-83 Brama <br />PL-79 - <br />Sollie Addition <br />SP-44 <br />Universal Sales <br />Continued to <br />July 11-8:1.5 <br />V~ rama <br />
