I <br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />Pursuant to"due call and published notice thereof, a raGul.ar meeting <br />of the New Brighton City Council was held at 8 p.m., February 1.2, 1974 <br />in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 803 5th Avenue N.W. <br />New Brighton, Minnesota <br />Present: Mayor Gayle C. Bromander, Councilmen Donald A. Anderson, <br />Diana Eagon, Gene Fisher, Paul Rebelein. Absent: None <br />Also Thomas F. Lewcock, City Manager; Perry W. Copeland, City <br />Present: Attorney; James J. Kleinschmidt, City Engineer; Vernon C. <br />Pederson, Clerk-Treasurer. <br />Motion by Eagon, seconded by Rebelein to approve <br />minutes of regular meeting of January 22 and special <br />meetings,.pf January 29 and January 30, 1974 <br />5 ayes - b nayes - carried <br />Unfinished Business <br />Motion by R'ebelein, seconded by Eagon to defer action <br />_ on appointment to the Human Rights Commission for a <br />r 3-year term <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Eagon, seconded by Anderson to defer action <br />on appointments to the Commission of Environmental <br />Quality <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Eagon, seconded by Rebelein to defer action on <br />appointments to the Citizen's Study Committer, <br />5 ayes - nayes - c? . rier' <br />Motion by Eagon, seconded by Fisher to appoint <br />Marty Sullivan, 163 15th Avenue, to fill vacancy on <br />Park Board, term to expire December 31, 1974 <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Eagon, seconded by Fisher to direct <br />administration to notify Richard Ernst that the <br />council will expect the traffic report relative <br />to service center at Silver Lake Road and County <br />Road E by council's February 26 meeting or Mr Ernst <br />should be prepared with documentation as to why the <br />report has not yet been presented including information <br />relative to the time of hiring of the consultant <br />traffic engineer and any problems the traffic engineer <br />might be having. Further, that the council put <br />Mr. Ernst on notice that if the report is not <br />Minutes <br />Human Rights <br />CEQ <br />CST <br />Appointment <br />Park Board <br />VN -111 <br />R.C.E.
