Page 41
Previous Council Action (8/27/74)e
Motion by Fisher, seconded by Rebelein to direct administration
to draft a resolution'to be considered at the next regular meeting
calling for approval of VN-129 and recognizing that the granting
is premature in that it could not be exercised in 180 days and-
provided that extension of the 180 day period would only be granted
by.the council on conditions that PRD 19 had progressed to certa n
stages.
5 ayes 0 nayes carried
Additional Discussion (9/11/74)°
The resolution granting VN-129-and SP-53 is worded under
(c) in such ,a way that the Council can consider specific building
plans at 'a later date. At that time, the Council would be able
to add conditions relating to landscaping, vehicle circulation,
building design or other matters as it sees fit.
Because the applicant will have to have a time extension
on the variance and special use permit and becausethe extension
is tied to Council approval of final plans, we feel the Council
will retain the same degree of approval power they normally
have with regard to variances and special use permits.
