Dalzen was present to answer questions. <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Andersor. to close <br />hearing <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Bromander to grant <br />variance for 1 foot sideyard setback for construction <br />of a detached garage <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - carried <br />Attorney stated hearing was properly called <br />Elaine Pederson, representing Naegele Outdoor <br />Advertising Company provided the following commentse <br />1. That the minimum distance for a billboard from <br />a residential area should be from 50-100 feet <br />on the same side of the street! <br />2. That because of grade problems, billboards <br />should be allowed to be higher than 25 feet; <br />3. That because some standard billboards are <br />larger than 300 feet, that the area considered <br />should be increased to 750 feet; <br />4. Supported deletion of the items of information <br />provisions. <br />2. Asked that the height requirement along freeways <br />be raised to 40 feet; <br />3. That a railroad be considered the same as side streets; <br />4. That he was unsatisfied with the provisions on <br />billboards; <br />5. That he opposed the licensing provision; <br />6.
