s <br />APPLICATION ' FOR <br />VARIANCE <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />August 14, 1974 <br />Date <br />TO: City Council,.of the City of New ?righton <br />Via: 'Planning Commission <br />We, the undersigned, hereby apply fora Variance to use the following <br />described property: To locate a company'sign 335 feet south of the north property line and 15 <br />feet set back from the 'east property line. The property is located at-UOP Johnson Div. Headquarters <br />1950 Old Highway 8 <br />New Brighton, Minn. <br />?a <br />Legal description of property, plot plan and sign prints are attached. <br />for tY e purpose of Locating a company sign 15 feet hark from the front property line <br />in accordance with the provisions of bity of New Brighton Ordinance <br />No. 188. <br />In addition to the above described` property, we own the following <br />contiiguous to this property: See attached plot plan. <br />This application is accompanied by 'a fee of 25.00 which is to be used <br />by the City to defray expenses incurred in handling this matter in <br />accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 188. Also required is <br />abstr6cter's certificate showing all 'propertir within 200 feet of above <br />described property. <br />This variance is reauested because the proposed factory addition to be completed in <br />1975 will extend to the 40 foot front set-back requirement. Since this is the same set-back <br />requirement for signs according to the New Brighton Ordinance, a variance is requested to <br />allow a 15 foot sign set-back. <br />Filed this day of C?^ 19 7 in the office <br />of City Manager. y`1 <br />C. -„ <br />Variance No. VN 131 Signed
