Bromander, Councilmen, Donald A. Anderson, <br />Gene Fisher, Paul Rebelein, Diana Eagon <br />Also Thomas F. Lewcock, City Manager; Perry w. Copeland, City <br />Presents Attorney; James"J. Kleinschmidt, City Director of Public <br />[works; Vernon. C. Pederson, Clerk-Treasurer. <br />Minutes <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by Eagon to amend minutes <br />of regular meeting of August 12 by providing that <br />approval of variance VN-1~5 was o:~ the basis t~iat <br />enforcement of the strict interpretation of the <br />zoning code would provide results in consummate <br />with the intent in meaning of the zoning code and <br />to approve minutes as amended and to approve minutes of <br />special meeting of August 14, 1975 <br />5 ayes - 0 Hayes - carried <br />Unfinished Business <br />Motion by Bromander, seconded by Eagon to table action <br />regarding Architectural Review Board and to direct <br />administration to not place this item on the agenda <br />unless. requested by a councilmember. <br />5 ayes - 0 Hayes - carried <br />Motion by Rebelein, seconded by Anderson to waive reading <br />of resolution and to adopt resolution entitled resolution <br />making findings of fact, granting variance VN-142 AND <br />STATING REASONS FOR SUCH APPROVAL (Cricket Inn) <br />4 ayes - 1 nays (Fisher) - Carried <br />Minutes <br />ESOLUTION <br />#1597 <br />t Motion. by Fisher, seconded by Eagon to refer the <br />"truck terminal' question to the Planning Commission for <br />study and report to the Council within 6 months, with Truck <br />the request that the whole question of landscaping, Terminals <br />buffering, setback, and vehicle placement and alignment <br />be addressed for all commercial and industrial properties <br />C~ and that recommendations be made for changes in the <br />zoning licensing, special use and other relevant code <br />° provisions.. <br />5 ayes - 0 Hayes -carried RESOLUTIO <br />Motion by Fisher, seconded by i'Lnderson to waive reading and adopt #1601 <br />resolution entitled RESOLUTION .MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT, GRANTING <br />VARIANCE VN-139 AND STATING REASONS FOR SUCH APPROVAL(Polynesian Village) <br />5 awes - 0 naves - carried <br />
