The Billboard is proposed to be <br />immediately adjacent to the builda_ng. Because the billboard is steel, <br />the"Building Code would require no separation between the building <br />and billboard. <br />The present ordinance allows 5 square feet of business signing <br />'(signing identifying the business on the property) for each foot of <br />frontage. The property in question has only 155 feet cf frontage <br />on County Road D, although it his a-very long lot line bordering <br />the freeway which does not count for signing purposes. This frontage <br />would permit the applicant 7.75 square feet of business-signing. <br />
