(e) limit signs facing freeways or parking lots to being no <br />larger `than the largest sign which would be a1~.oweel on the front <br />of the building. Both .signs violate this provision. <br />The existing billboard meets the proposed height limitation <br />but at approximately 672.:-square feet is we 11 in excess of the-area <br />'limitation. <br />In summary, the existing- building= signing is not in conformance <br />with the present ordinance and would not be in conformance with the <br />proposed ordinance. The existing billboard conforms 'to the present' <br />ordinance but does not conform to the proposed ordinance. Thee <br />proposed bl?board would conform to the existing ordinance .but there <br />are a number of, questions regarding its conformance with the <br />proposed ordinance. These are: <br />A. Is it allowed on the same parcel with the existing <br />billboard? <br />• B. Does it have sufficient distance from a residential <br />district? <br />C. Is the temporary 4' x 8' sign allowable since it <br />would put the total sign area over 300 square feet? <br />
