It is recommended that a wall sign be allowed on the- <br /> south-side of the building to identify the: customer <br /> parking area. Previously-the recommendationwas that <br /> the ground sign.. be removed and no alternative signing` <br /> was recommended. Tt appears from a review of the aerial <br /> photos that such a'sign would not meet Code as there <br /> is not sufficient parking area for 1~ card on this side <br /> of tha building. most of the Land in this area is a <br /> public alley and adequate space for only 8 cars exists <br /> on the applicant's property. The- sign, as recommended <br /> by the .Planning Commission, was. not part o`f the <br />- applicant's variance request. For these reasons., we <br /> are uncertain as to whether such a sign can be allowed <br /> under this. application. <br />c. The Planning Commission also included some suggestions <br />` <br /> as `well as <br />as to how some of the .applicant`s needs <br /> the suggested conditions might be met.
