RESOLUTION N0. <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND DENYING VARIANCE <br />APPLICATION VN-179 <br />WHEREAS, an application for a variance VN-179 has <br />been made by Gordon Hedlund to permit the construction of <br />a home exceeding the .3 floor area ratio limitation, on <br />Lot 28, Block 1, Syndicate Addition to Minneapolis Stockyards, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application, is <br />as follows: <br />1. That an application for variance VN-179 <br />was filed with the City on November 9, 1977 <br />and was heard and reviewed by the Planning <br />Commission at its meeting of November 15, <br />1977; <br />2. That the City Council, pursuant to published <br />and mailed notices, held a public hearing on <br />February 14, 1978. All persons present .at <br />the hearing were given an opportunity to <br />be heard. <br />3. The written comments and analysis of the <br />City Planner, the Planning Commission minutes <br />and recommendations, and all person's statements <br />at the public hearing were considered.. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the New Brighton <br />City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in regard <br />to the application for VN-179: <br />1. That no undue hardships or unique circumstances <br />applying to the property have been presented <br />through the application. <br />2. That the City Council has consistently upheld <br />the f loor-area-ratio limitation. <br />
