<br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON request for
<br />variance to permit erection of window sign exceeding
<br />allowable size.
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN.that the New Brighton
<br />City Council will meet on March 14,1978, at 7:40 o'clock
<br />p.m. at the New Brighton City Hall, New Brighton,
<br />Minnesota to consider: A request for a variance to allow
<br />the placement of a window sign exceeding in size that
<br />allowed under Section 14-150 of the New Brighton Zoning
<br />Code.
<br />Property Description: Certain lands lying in the NW
<br />V+ of the NE ~/+'of Sec. 29, T. 30, R. 23, and formerly
<br />known as Lot 41 and the S. 10 feet of Lot 42, Block 2, First
<br />Addition to New Brighton, a portion of which plat was
<br />vacated, including the above described premises by
<br />decree of the District Court of Ramsey County dated
<br />JVne 28,1928 but this transfer shall not Include any part
<br />or portion of any street or alley; lying adjacent to the
<br />said lots heretofore vacated or to be vac aced; and
<br />Lot 79, Block 2, First Addition to New Brighton; and
<br />All that partof the NW V+of the NE'/a of Sec. 29, 7.30,
<br />R. 23, form^rly known and described as Lot 40 in Block 2
<br />of First Addition to New Brighton.

<br />(3) Said newspaper has 50 percent of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the com-
<br />munity which it purports to serve and does not wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made
<br />up entirely of patents, plate matter and advertisements. (4) Said newspaper is circulated in and near
<br />the municipality which it purports to serve, has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to paying
<br />subscribers, has an average of at least 75 percent of its total circulation currently oaid or no more than
<br />three months in arrears and has entry as,second-class matter in its local post-office. (5) Said newspaper
<br />purports to serve the Village of New Brighton in the County of Ramsey and it has ifs known office
<br />of issue in the Village of New Brighton in said county, established and open during its regular
<br />business hbUrS fbr the gathering Of news, sale Of advertisements and sale Of SUbsCrlpltbn5 aria meiR-
<br />tained by the publisher of said newspaper or persons in his employ and subject to his direction and
<br />control during all such regular business hours at which said newspaper fs printed. (6) Said news-
<br />paper fifes a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has
<br />complied with all }he foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates bf publi-
<br />cation mentioned below. (8) Said newspaper has filed with the Secretary of State of Minnesota prior
<br />to January 1, 1966, and each January 1 thereafter an affidavit in the form prescribed by the Secretary
<br />of State and signed by the publisher and sworn to before a notary public stating that the newspaper is
