RESOLUTION NO. <br />State of Minnesota <br />County of Ramsey <br />City of New Brighton <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT .AND DENYING VARIANCE APPLICATION <br />VN-186. <br />WHEREAS, and application for a variance VN-186 has been made by <br />Robert and Shirley Erwin to permit a subdivision of property creating <br />a lot less than 75 feet in width. and ..not having frontage on a public <br />street, and <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as <br />follows : <br />1. That an application for a variance VN-186 was„filed <br />with the City on June 14, 1978. <br />2. That the Board of Review heard and reviewed the <br />application at its meeting of June 20, 1978. <br />3. That the City Council, pursuant to published and <br />mailed notices, held a public hearing on July 25, - <br />1 978 to consider the application. All persons <br />present at the public hearing were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. <br />4. -That the lot has some unique characteristics including <br />size, street access, a creek which flows through the <br />property and a sewer easement which. crosses the property.- <br />. 5. That past practice has been to discourage creation of <br />lots .not having frontage on a public street. <br />6. That the proposed subdivision raises concerns for the <br />`future development of the remaining property. <br />7. That the property could be subdivided in'a manner <br />meeting the intent of the Zoning Code and platting <br />regulations. <br />
